Urology Clinic deals with diagnosis and treatment of diseases and cancers of male and female urinary tracts (the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra) and of male reproductive organs (the penis, testis and prostate gland).
Urology Clinic uses both medical and surgical means of treatment for these conditions, called urogenital disorders. Both structural and functional disorders of male and female urinary tracts and male reproductive organs are investigated at this clinic. These examinations include general approaches such as laboratory tests and imaging methods which are used by all medical disciplines, but urology-specific diagnostic methods are available as well. Among them are cystogram (visualization of the bladder with X-ray), semen analysis, urodynamic tests (measurement of intravesical pressure and volume), uroflowmetry, prostate specific antigen, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, voiding cystourethrography and prostate biopsy.

Laparoscopic surgery allows you go home on the same day
The advancements in medicine have also led to revolutionary developments in the field of Urology. Laparoscopic surgeries, also called closed surgeries, have been used in urologic procedures for a long time. In addition, the use of endoscopy in Urology brought about the emergence of endo-urology. Urinary tract stones leading to unbearable pains are removed in a short time without making any incision and patients can resume their routine daily life on the same day.
For all eligible patients, laparoscopic surgery is preferred in all hospitals of the Hera Healthcare network. As the laparoscopic surgeries are carried out through tiny incisions and associated with less postoperative pain and shorter hospital stay, patient comfort and satisfaction are maximized.
